Horn Memorial Plans for Girlfriend’s Getaway

 Horn Memorial Hospital is planning for its 9^th Annual Girlfriends Getaway set for Wednesday, April 24^th from 5-8 p.m. at the Ida Grove Skate Palace.  This women’s health event is centered on the theme “wellness that fits”.  Participants are encouraged to get active and learn about a variety of exercises offered at our area rec centers.  Exercises featured will be 10-minute sessions on zumba, step aerobics, tabata and yoga.  Wear your comfy/workout clothes and actively participate, or just stand back and learn more about these trending activities. 

One of the draws to this annual event is the variety of vendors and health education geared toward women.  Seventeen vendors have already signed up and registrations continue to trickle in!  Horn Memorial staff will provide free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, women’s health and wellness education, as well as coffee samples from The 10^th Cup!  The Odebolt Bowling Alley will cater a variety of appetizers and the Skate Palace will provide the cash bar!

Tickets for the event are $10 each and can be purchased at Horn Memorial Hospital, Horn Physicians Clinic, or at the door.  Pre-sale ticket purchases are appreciated so we have a better idea of how much food to plan for.  Bring your girlfriends for an evening out!  Shop, eat, drink, exercise and learn…in whatever order you choose!
