Horn Memorial Foundation Plans for the 13th Annual Fall Festival

The Horn Memorial Hospital Foundation is planning its 13th Annual Festival set for Friday, November 2nd at the Ida Grove Skate Palace. This festive evening will include cocktails, dinner, auctions, and entertainment!

The Foundation Board has recently set a new goal to raise the $156,000 needed to replace the laboratory’s Chemistry Analyzer. This instrument performs the majority of the lab tests ordered from Horn Memorial Hospital, Horn Physicians Clinics, several outpatient clinic providers, and many area nursing homes. In short, this instrument helps the hospital service MANY community members. With the new Chemistry Analyzer, patients will benefit from faster turnaround times, which means less waiting for our patients, and less blood work sent to a reference lab.

Sarah Harm, Public Relations Director comments, “Horn Memorial strives to provide a large variety of services right here in our local community. The new Chemistry Analyzer is just another way for us to allow patients the opportunity to receive medical services without driving out of town. The annual Foundation Festival is a community-supported tradition that we hope to continue for many years to come.”

This year’s theme, “Doo Wop, Lab Hop”, will reflect the atmosphere for the evening’s entertainment, Richie Lee and the Fabulous 50’s. Community members will once again decorate tables, and as many of you know, browsing the tables before the dinner is something to see!

Attendees are encouraged to arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 in order to view all of the wonderful table decorations and silent auction items. Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. followed by the live auction and entertainment.
