HMH Announces New OB-GYN Clinic and Surgical Services

Horn Memorial Hospital (HMH) is pleased to announce that Dr. Karl Hasik, Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, will begin providing an OB-GYN outpatient clinic the first Wednesday of the month beginning in January.   Dr. Hasik was in private practice in Paragould, Arkansas before beginning his new practice at Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) Medical Clinic in Denison.  He is a graduate of the medical school at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and completed his residency at the St. Louis University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in St. Louis, Missouri. Throughout his medical career, which has taken him from his hometown of St. Louis to the southern and western states, Dr. Hasik has delivered over 5,000 babies.  Dr. Hasik comes to HMH in cooperation with CCMH to provide not only an OB-GYN outpatient clinic but also gynecology surgical services.
“My practice is a general OB-GYN practice, but I have always had special interests”, noted Dr. Hasik. “I am certified in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, both minimally invasive approaches to gynecology surgery.” Dr. Hasik’s surgical services will include performing all the noninvasive approaches to hysterectomy, removal of ovaries, and the medical and surgical treatment of female urinary incontinence.
“I look forward to the opportunity to serve the women of Ida Grove and the surrounding areas with my skill set in OB-GYN.  I am grateful for the chance to share my ability,” Dr. Hasik said.
